Programmes of Study
At Birmingham City University we have a high regard for professional and vocational excellence. We have strong associations with schools, colleges, other universities, businesses and employers world-wide. We aim to provide the best possible professional and vocational education. We split our degree programmes into:
- January / February / Winter Start Programmes - We offer a selection of popular Master programmes in all six faculties.
- English Language Programmes - for students who need language skills enhancement.
- Foundation Programmes - for students who need to undertake some study before starting a degree programme.
- Bachelor programmes - for students who have yet to complete a degree.
- Master programmes - for students who have completed a degree and want to take up further study.
- PhD - for students who wish to conduct independent research and contribute to the world of knowledge.
- Study abroad and exchange programmes - for students who want to study partially at the University.
Over the years we have come to recognise the special needs of international students, and our International Office acts as a focal point; offering information and advice both before and after you apply to the University.
